Photo Scanning Order
The ordering and scanning process is simple – here’s how it works:

• Download and print out the order form (PDF format)
• Then, fill in the order form with your details and the scanning services and/or packages you require, and specify the required scanning resolution
• Include the completed order form with your photos and send by tracked parcelpost or courier to our mailing address (if you are based in or near Christchurch, you are welcome to drop off your order at our premises)
• Note: see here for some useful tips on preparing and packing your photos
• As these are your precious memories, we recommend that you use a courier bag with tracking to send your images to us to minimise any risk of loss in transit. Please note that Photoscans cannot be responsible for any items that may be lost during shipping
• We will notify you by email once we receive your order and provide you with an indicative delivery time. If you have a particular deadline, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs
• We’ll then scan your photos and advise you when we’re ready to ship them back to you
• On completion and receipt/processing of payment, we’ll ship your original items back to you along with the scanned digital images using tracked courier or parcelpost

Pick Up/Drop off and Onsite Scanning Services
If you're in Christchurch, you're welcome to drop your photo order off to us or we can come to you! Please see details of our pick up/drop off and onsite scanning services at the foot of this page.

Payment Method
We accept payment by cash (local pickup only) or direct credit to our bank account. We will advise you of our bank account details with your order receipt confirmation.

Payment Terms
We require payment in full prior to delivery of your order. You are covered by our satisfaction guarantee (see below).

Return Courier
We will return your valuable originals and the scanned digital media by tracked courier or parcelpost. If you select the 'Pay per Scan' option, the cost of the return courier will be added to the total cost of your scanning order. For Scanning Packages, return courier delivery is included in the Package price.

Minimum Order Value
For our 'Pay per Scan' option, we have a minimum order value of $50.

Satisfaction Guarantee
We're proud of what we do and we believe that you'll be happy with the results we produce. Specific results will vary based on the quality of the original materials but we're confident that we produce consistently high standards and stand by our work. If, however, you're not happy with the outcome, we'll work with you to resolve the problem.
